CAS: 7085-85-0
MF: C6H7NO2
- Chemical type: α-Cyanoacrylate Ethyl Ester.
- Appearance: Colorless and transparent liquid.
- Characteristics: Low viscosity, rapid curing, and general-purpose bonding. It is particularly suitable for porous or difficult-to-bond substrates (such as wood, paper, leather, fabric) and for bonding metal to most plastics.

Note: The curing speed is significantly affected by environmental humidity, the porosity of the substrate, and the bonding gap. The curing process is the fastest when the gap is ≤ 0.05mm. For gaps > 0.15mm, a curing accelerator is required (which may reduce the final strength).
The bonding areas should be clean and free of grease. Before use, clean the substrate and let it dry. It is recommended to use a dedicated cleaning agent to remove grease and dust from the substrate.
For smooth surfaces (such as metal), roughening can be done to enhance adhesion. To improve the bonding effect on low surface energy substrates, a dedicated treatment agent can be used.
2) Gluing Method:
Single-sided thin coating (thickness ≤ 0.2mm). Apply the glue evenly and quickly assemble the components. The components should be accurately and quickly fixed without excessive adjustment.
If the bonding parts do not fit well, they can be fixed with a fixture or pressed for a few seconds until the glue is preliminarily cured.
Avoid excessive application of glue. Excess glue can be dissolved and wiped with a solvent. After bonding, maintain a certain level of ventilation and drying. Do not pack the box before 24 hours of curing to avoid whitening.
3) Applicable Materials:
- Recommended: Metal (steel, aluminum), most rubber, most plastics, ceramics, wood, leather, fabric, etc.
- Not Recommended: Unprocessed polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).
4. Safety and Operating Precautions
1) Hazard Statement: This product may cause eye irritation or respiratory irritation.
However, it complies with the latest EU ROHS 2.0 directive. The product is for industrial use only and should be kept out of reach of children.
2) Protective Measures:
- Operate in a well-ventilated environment. Avoid contact with skin or eyes (wear protective goggles and nitrile gloves; do not use woven gloves - they may cause exothermic reactions).
- In case of eye contact, immediately rinse with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
